New Right Fight, are a group of  New Zealanders who are concerned that the free-market "reforms"of the 1980's and 1990's are about to be thrust on  New Zealander's again by an Act / National coalition and Don Brash / Roger Douglas pulling the strings.

We believe that most New Zealanders are so busy working to keep ahead and also give quality time to their families that they haven't got the time to really investigate just who planned the  reforms, who really benefited from them and what the downsides were for the rest of our citizens.
Our group comprises of New Zealanders from many walks of life, some married with families some single, our ages range twenty-nine to sixty-seven.  Our occupations are varied, ranging from Builders, Bus Drivers, Teachers, Firefighters, Home Executives, lawyers and Hairdressers. Some of our group have given many years to youth groups, school committees and church groups,  seeing many problems in our society which can be attributed to putting profit before people.
With careers that span over thirty years it is with dismay that we see that the New Right reforms of the 1980s and 1990s have not helped the average hard working New Zealand family and as both parents work to pay the bills, the effect on the children, with the ongoing social problems  become very obvious.
Just as firefighters endeavour to prevent the incidence of fire by fire safety education,to protect lives and property. We are endeavouring to do the same here by giving out this information. For the sake of your family, please take the time to read it.
We hope this will be of interest to you and we welcome your input. If you wish, please e-mail us at  we will be happy to share your views with others for the betterment of life for all in this great country of ours.
Thank you

We appreciate the help and articles given to us by the late Mr. Hugh Price who had a vast knowledge on this subject.
We recommend Know the New Right (Gondwanaland Press,1996) and F.A.Hayek's New Right Manifesto (Gondwanaland Press, 2000)

We also appreciate all the help given to us from the Citizens Electoral Council of Australia who have been informing the public for many years through their publication The New Citizen and one reason the Australian wages are higher than ours is because the informed Australian worker resisted the New Right agenda and the Citizens Electoral Council must take a lot of the credit for that.

Also recommended is the Australian Alert Service, This is the official newsletter for the Citizens Electoral Council of Australia.

We would also like to thank Campaign Against Foreign Control of Aotearoa (CAFCA) for their valued research and imput.

The New Right, its History and alliances
In fact, New Zealand now suffers a New Right government that is more extreme that any other in the world. In Thatcher's Britain and Reagan's US, New Right ideas were recognized as an extremist fringe, while in New Zealand they have captured Treasury (and the Reserve Bank)...
What caused the Global financial crash?
Whether you have your money in shares, superannuation or property, the result seems to be the same. Your assets are devaluing every day and there is very little you can do about it.  Finance companies, then Investment banks and now some banks have collapsed and others have been bought out at bargin basement prices....
SOEs , Privatisation & Asset sales. The attack on the Fire Service.
One of the many bizarre and ludicrous examples of New Right ideology is the insistence that the production and distribution of electricity - for so long efficiently and economically done by a low-key government department - must be corporatised, subject to competition, and privatised. ...
Campaign Against Foreign Control of Aotearoa (CAFCA) Articles
..Bill English, who recently told the nation that the Government needs to further liberalise the 2005 Overseas Investment Act because "we need their (foreign investors') money and jobs"? So instead of putting money into New Zealand, these much hyped foreign investors are actually taking money out. Nearly $9 billion in fact, and just in one year...
